Talk NYC Psychotherapy is a diverse group private practice that provides individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy for ages 6 through adult. We accept out of pocket as well as many in-network insurances. The practice is telehealth and the clinician must be located and working within New York State.
The therapist in this position will be responsible for conducting remote mental health therapy children and adults. All direct therapy will be delivered via a virtual platform; therefore the candidate must be comfortable and knowledgeable of teleconferencing applications such as Zoom/Google Meet/WebEx.
Documentation of client goals, treatment progress, and assessments is expected for reporting and measurement of progress at the conclusion of each therapy session. The candidate will be provided with a TalkNYC! email address consistently for appointments and communications from staff and clients.
This position will work directly with TalkNYC! customers to provide mental health services/therapy covering a variety of concerns (i.e. anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, relationships, etc…). Key requirements for this position are as follows:
- LMHC or MHC-LP (or working towards MHC-LP)
- Complete progress notes and updated calendar within 24 hours of time of service.
- Provide initial intake, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes.
- Maintain client’s charts and keep complete and correct documentation
- Case management including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care.
- Participate weekly in mandatory supervision.
