Our practice is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to support our team. In addition to checking patients out this role includes scheduling, collecting payments at the time of service, checking insurance eligibility, answering billing questions, and any other requests made by management.
Responsibilities:
- Strive to provide a superior patient experience
- Support patients with scheduling treatment plans
- Educate the patient regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options, including third-party patient financing
- Collect copayments and verify insurance coverage
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Follow-up as needed with the patient between visits for non scheduled, canceled, or missed appointments
Qualifications:
- One year of experience but willing to train the right candidate
- Versed in dental terminology and procedures but willing to train the right candidate
- Maintains a positive, collaborative, and supportive disposition with team and patients
- Understands and complies with HIPAA
