As a Compliance Specialist, your duties include but not limited to:
- Accurate review of new applicant certification and resident annual recertification files for proper procedure and documentation.
- Respond promptly to compliance related questions from the on-site teams.
- Prepare the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual agency reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience assisting with certifications, and recertifications, assisting in catching up audit preparation or corrections, as assigned.
- Experience with affordable housing programs and layering, and regulatory compliance in one or more programs such as: LIHTC, HUD programs.
- Know and be able to work within Fair Housing laws and regulations, including extensive knowledge of HUD 4350.3, EIV.
