We are looking for a Forklift Driver to service our agricultural customers. Some Forklift Drivers may be seasonal based upon business needs. Seniority applies to layoffs which are typically November through February.
SUMMARY: Responsible for maintenance of inventory, loading and off-loading product, and housekeeping duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
INVENTORY
- Communicates with management and supervisor on daily/weekly estimates on product usage regarding proper inventory levels.
- Participates in quarterly or semi-annual inventory counts as required by management (Saturday or Sunday work may be required)
- Participates in periodic cycle counts as necessary to verify inventory.
- Places incoming inventory items in proper location and maintains current location of inventory.
- Maintains yard inventories in acceptable condition; re-bagging, re-palletizing or re-strapping as needed.
SHIPPING AND RECEIVING
- Loads/Off-loads product onto or off of trucks or trailers.
- Creates Sales Orders on tablet software making sure to use accurate item codes and quantities.
- Responsible for verifying quantities received to bill of lading or other receiving documents and immediately notifies supervisor of any discrepancies or damaged product.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains neat, clean and safe equipment and work areas.
- Communicates effectively with the management, co-workers, contractors, customers, vendors and all other business contacts.
- Uses equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner, follows established safety procedures, uses appropriate safeguards and observes common sense rules of safety in all on-the-job activities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
