Responsibilities:
Schedule and Coordinate General Maintenance Requests and Move In/Move Outs:
This job specifically utilizes Appfolio property management software and is heavy on email/text communication. Typing speed and accuracy is imperative.
Emailing/calling/texting tenants/vendors/owners and HOA's to obtain more information about the maintenance necessary and delegating it to the appropriate vendors.
- Follow up with vendors and tenants about scheduling, availability, and job completion
- Annual property surveys, make-ready inspections, HOA violation inspections
- Ensure that all maintenance is delegated and completed in a timely manner and billing invoices are received and accurate
- Upload inspection reports and relevant data to the Appfolio Property Management software and Microsoft Cloud
- Schedule one-off property surveys to facilitate resident access or address specific concerns
- Act as a point of contact for maintenance related issues and escalate them to the Property Manager as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address and resolve any challenges or obstacles encountered during maintenance
- Ensure maintenance is scheduled and completed within the specified timeframe
- Continually monitor and strive to reduce the number of days it takes to complete maintenance
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in property management/maintenance or a related field is necessary
- Experience with scheduling and coordination tasks
- Strong knowledge of facilities management
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to follow up
- Strong communication skills to interact with field operators, vendors, and internal teams
- Proficiency in using Appfolio property management software and databases
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to escalate issues appropriately
- Detail-Oriented:
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks and ability to coordinate repairs as needed
- Proactive:
- Ability to proactively identify and address potential scheduling issues
- Flexibility:
- Adaptability to changing schedules and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Summary
As a Property Management Maintenance Coordinator, you will be a key player in overseeing all maintenance and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Warranty of Habitability. Your core skills in customer service are necessary in order to provide exceptional service to tenants.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
