Luigi’s Andiamo Pizza by Roy Yamaguchi is looking for a Pizza Cook for newly opened Pizza Truck at the Wailea Beach Resort. Luigi’s Andiamo Pizza by Roy Yamaguchi is committed to the freshest locally sourced ingredients. From classic pizzas to avant-garde specialty pies, each creation is a testament to Roy’s innovative spirit.
We are looking to create a team of Pizza Artisans for our new venture. Here are some of the skills/qualifications and responsibilities we are looking for:
Skills/Qualifications:
- Culinary Skill: Proficient in pizza dough preparation, sauce making, and pizza assembly.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in measuring ingredients, arranging toppings, and monitoring cooking times.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle different types of pizzas and adapt to changing menus or customer preferences.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and maintain a positive working environment.
- Creativity: Innovation in creating new and appealing pizza recipes
Responsibilities:
- Dough Preparation: Prepare pizza dough by measuring and combining ingredients to ensure the proper consistency and texture.
- Toppings and Sauces: Assemble pizzas by spreading sauce, adding cheese, and arranging various toppings according to customer preferences and Roy’s standards.
- Oven Operation: Operate pizza oven and other kitchen equipment to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection, considering factors like temperature and cooking time.
- Quality Control: Inspect the quality of ingredients, such as vegetables, meats, and cheeses, to ensure freshness and adherence to safety standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including preparation areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Must adhere to local food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple orders simultaneously, managing cooking times and ensuring all pizzas are cooked promptly.
Starting pay $15 plus tips.
