Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in leading and guiding individuals through various fitness activities and programs. Musicality and the ability to lead a room of 15+ people are a must! If you are a good fit for this role, you'll also be friendly, reliable, highly skilled at multitasking, have excellent communication skills and be genuine and passionate about helping others. If you have a strong background in body mechanics, fitness sales, and a passion for educating others in areas such as Yoga, Personal Training, Group Fitness, or Sports Coaching, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Availability to teach a minimum of 2 classes per week (classes are offered early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends and some holidays)
- Diligent planning and preparation before each class, including study of choreography & class planning prior to each class, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
- Assist with keeping the studio organized, clean and tidy
- Ability to lift hand waits, demonstrate full body pushups and maintain high-energy for 55-minute class is required
- All instructors are required to compete a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification. Minimum 1 year commitment to teaching is required before attending the 4 -day training.

- Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept (ideal, but not required)

We will be holding open auditions on Friday, July 12 at 4 PM and Saturday, July 13 at 2 PM at the Pure Barre West Loop studio located at 1170 W Madison Ave
