Our busy comprehensive Ophthalmology practice has an opening for a full-time technician. Our practice offers excellent salary and benefits which include: PTO, medical insurance, 401K and paid holidays. Responsibilities of the technician will include: preparing patients for exam, gathering past medical history, assisting the physician in procedures, performing refractions and in-office testing (OCT, visual fields, IOL Master). Must have computer knowledge , excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic with a positive attitude towards patient care and the ability to work well with others. Ophthalmic experience preferred, however, for the right individual, highly motivated and eager to learn, we will provide resources and training. For experienced technicians looking for new challenges and growth, we have opportunities to learn Retina, Oculoplastics, laser operation and more.
