Duties: (MULTIPLE OPENINGS)
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities & mental disabilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure the safety of residents
- Monitor and document residents' progress and behaviors
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
- Assist with transportation to appointments and community outings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Promote resident rights and ensure a safe and supportive environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred - GROUP HOME EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
- Knowledge of resident rights and best practices
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and strategies
- Experience in behavior management and crisis intervention
- Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks, such as vital signs monitoring and first aid
