JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting research projects within the Clinical Department at The Wound Pros (TWP)]. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the execution of research activities, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to clinical initiatives and quality improvement projects. This role is essential for the successful execution of research projects, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in our field.
WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records (EHR), clinical databases, and research studies.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and visualizations of findings for internal stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design research studies, formulate research questions, and define data collection protocols.
- Assist in the development and validation of research methodologies, study protocols, and data collection tools.
- Stay current with advancements in data analysis techniques, statistical software, and research methodologies.
Data Analysis:
- Assist in data analysis using appropriate statistical and software tools.
- Generate tables, graphs, and reports to present research findings.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for conferences and publications.
- Maintain detailed records of research activities and findings.
Ethical Conduct:
- Ensure ethical conduct throughout the research process, including informed consent, privacy, and confidentiality.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the Principal Investigator and research team, including grant applications, budget tracking, and project management.
- Creating workflow, policies and procedures, process maps, and trackers
WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and quantitative research methods.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Experience in healthcare or clinical research is a plus.
- Prior experience in research, particularly in data collection and analysis and statistics.
- Familiarity with IRB regulations and ethical standards for research.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a research team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
