Position Summary:
As a Project Manager you will oversee all aspects of projects for Agam's prefabricated architectural wall system.
Key Positional Drivers:
· Responsible for managing all aspects of Agam’s Interior projects where the company manufactures solid and glass prefabricated architectural walls for offices, conference rooms, and other interior applications.
· Responsible for managing project budgets, margins, meeting quality standards, and delivering on established timelines on all Interiors projects.
· Manage all aspects of projects from pre-planning during quoting phase to coordinating all aspects of projects post-sale. This includes coordinating with the CAD Engineering and Production and includes monitoring projects throughout the production phase to shipping, install, and final invoicing.
· Participate with AEs on client intake calls for projects to help the client understand budget, options, and how we might execute the project.
· Manage timeline on entire project including approval dates.
· Coordinate external purchase through purchasing agent and process all sales orders for Agam manufacturing. Identify and act upon long-lead items early in the process.
· Responsible for coordinating install and shipping if part of project scope. Important to interface with client regarding on-site conditions, access, working times, etc.
· Initiate change orders as necessary. Account Executive is responsible for forwarding to customer.
· Work with CAD Engineering for all shop and install drawings.
· Interface with shop as necessary to answer questions. Work through Production to ensure that dates are met and quality is maintained.
· Hold all formal meetings including client kick-off meeting, internal kick-off meeting, production kick-off meeting, etc.
· Assist and perform estimates on Interiors projects. Collaborate with sales team and CAD Engineering to complete all necessary drawings and methodology for pricing. Coordinate with Agam’s third-party installation team and freight coordinator for pricing on these elements.
· Work with CAD Engineering and Account Executive to determine if and what drawings are necessary for pricing.
· Assist in presenting solutions and pricing with AEs as necessary (though this is predominantly the responsibility of the AE).
· Have complete knowledge of Agam product offerings and capabilities.
· Provide an engaged, energetic, thoughtful and “whatever it takes / yes we can” demeanor to meet and exceed customer needs.
· Not all duties are noted here, and others may be assigned.
Work Environment Related
Position will at times require work beyond 40 hours per week. Travel is low to moderate and may include conducting site surveys and supervising installations.
