Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team of passionate professionals in private practice. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide mental health counseling and therapy to individuals of all ages. You will work in an outpatient office setting among other private practice mental and behavioral healthcare providers, offering support and guidance to patients dealing with various mental health issues.
Strong rapport building and interpersonal relationship building skills are essential.
This is a post-residency position that requires experience in diagnostic evaluation, evidence-based talk therapy, and testing.
Duties:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions to assess and address patients' mental health concerns
- Provide counseling and therapy for individuals experiencing disordered mood, personality, or adjustment concerns, including chronic pain or mood-physiology related symptoms.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions
- Collaborate with medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patient interactions and progress
- Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluation services
- Provide child and family counseling services as needed
- Offer crisis intervention services for patients in acute distress
- Provide clinical oversight to Psychology Assistants, Trainees, and licensees under-supervision
Experience:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution
- Completion of postdoctoral training or residency program in Clinical Psychology
- Valid license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Ohio
- Proven experience in mental health counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention
- Familiarity with medical records management systems
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills
- Experience conducting group therapy sessions
- Ability to provide child and family counseling

Compensation is based upon factors such as education, specialized training / experiences, testing, and caseload retention.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
