The State Group is seeking an Onboarding Specialist for a 12-18 month project on the Blue Oval City job site in Stanton, TN. As the Onboarding Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience from the moment they join our team. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing our onboarding processes to ensure that new hires feel welcomed, informed, and equipped to excel in their roles. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program that encompasses orientation, training, and ongoing support for new hires.
- Follow I9 process and E-verify all incoming new hires.
- Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to customize onboarding experiences based on role-specific needs and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, answering questions, providing guidance, and addressing concerns throughout the onboarding process.
- Coordinate logistics for onboarding activities, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and arranging introductions with key stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and refine onboarding processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
- Collect feedback from new hires and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to onboarding and employee engagement.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in onboarding, HR, or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of onboarding best practices, including orientation, training, and cultural integration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Prior union and/or construction experience preferred.
