Overview
We are looking for an energetic, food-loving sales leader to join our admissions department as a Sales Advisor for Pro Cook admissions (Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts). The right fit for this position will be someone who loves working with people, is independent and resourceful, and wants to guide students in selecting CulinaryLab as their education provider.
This is not your standard, aggressive "100 calls a day" admissions position. You would be part of the Pro Admissions team working with warm leads to see if CulinaryLab is the right fit for them. You will manage the enrollment process from start to finish for potential students.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and enroll students, using in-depth program knowledge and superior selling skills
- Communicate the value, goals, and outcomes of a CulinaryLab education for our Professional programs over the phone and/or by conducting facility tours
- Use CRM software daily to manage interactions with current and prospective students
- Conduct CulinaryLab facility tours to prospective students; meet with students individually to determine if the program and a career in the culinary industry is right for them
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Five or more years of sales and/or school admissions experience
- A goal-oriented self-starter; someone who works best when given the chance to be independent and creative
- Proven record of strong sales results, especially in a consultative sales role
- Shows empathy towards prospective students regarding their career goals
- A passion for food, cooking, and the culinary industry
Schedule
- Monday - Friday with occasional weekends | 9 AM to 6 PM with a lunch break
- One to two evenings regularly and as needed for student tours. Start time would be adjusted accordingly.
- Remote day is typically on Friday
- Based in Downtown Santa Ana
Compensation and Benefits
- $30 per hour, depending on experience (no commission)
