Responsibilities:
· Deliver specialized nursing care to students with complex medical needs within a classroom environment.
· Administer medications and manage feeding tubes and suctioning for male students, adhering to established guidelines and physician directives.
· Continuously monitor students' health and promptly address medical emergencies following established protocols.
· Collaborate effectively with teachers and other service providers to promote a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
· Maintain accurate, confidential student health records.
Qualifications:
· Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MA.
· Have experience working with children with special needs, including managing seizure disorders and G-tube feeding.
· Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrate a commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $36.66 - $44.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
