The Program Coordinator serves as a member of the Community Services leadership team providing operational leadership, team management, filling the role of Program Specialist for individuals receiving Community Services supports, and serving the mission of Mainstay to provide life-long, high quality support services, ensuring that people with intellectual disabilities and autism lead fulfilling lives. Responsibilities include direct supervision of Community Services Managers; monitoring Community Services billing; ensuring quality service provision; understanding budgetary considerations and funding sources; participating in the hiring process and staff development; coordination of services; providing input to establish agency policies; working with Life Sharing and Supported Living programs; facilitating new hire program orientation and medication trainings for Community Services and/or Life Sharing Partners and Supported Living staff. Serve as a certified investigator. The Community Services Coordinator must have the ability to follow the Agency leadership model.
Master’s/Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of work experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health and human services, -OR- Associates degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and four years of work experience working directly with behavioral health and human services. Experience with 6500 regulations preferred. Valid driver's license & use of a personal vehicle required.
