Patient Care Coordinator / Surgery Scheduler
Arizona Oculoplastic Specialists is located in Scottsdale Arizona. We offer a full range of cosmetic procedures and facial plastic surgeries. It is a solo private practice dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a personalized manner. We are looking for a fun, high energy and self-motivated person to schedule procedures for our surgeon and help promote the cosmetic aspect of practice through client education.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience Requirements: 2 or more years in a medical office setting, Plastics, Dermatology, Med-spa preferred.
- Sales Experience
- Use of Electronic Medical Records, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent communication skills a must, both verbal and written.
- Educational Requirements: High school diploma or GED minimum
Responsibilities:
- Schedule cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeries with local ASC’s
- Handle prospective patient inquiries through e-mail or phone calls
- Educate patients in understanding the scope of aesthetic and plastic surgeries offered.
- Financial counseling, reviewing fees for procedures and collecting payments
- Review the consent form, pre and post-op instructions with patients, complete all appropriate paperwork
- Perform special duties as needed
- Learn all the aesthetic treatments offered, such as laser technologies, neurotoxins , dermal fillers..etc.
