ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Routine painting, carpentry, dry wall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities in response to work orders
- Prepare vacant units for incoming residents
- Supports move in & out inspections and turn over processes
- Interacts with tenants from move in to move out
- Inspects units mid leasing term for damage and preventive maintenance
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas and amenities
- EM snow removal and salting as required to back-up contracted service
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license and own mode of transportation
- Ability to work full time 40 hours per week
- Available for on-call rotation as assigned
- Ability to work OT as required to fulfill all turn-over requirements
- Ability to assess problems and solve with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to interact professionally with tenants and prioritize building and tenant maintenance needs
- Skilled in property maintenance tasks included, but not limited to the following competencies and skill sets: Janitorial and grounds keeping
Shoveling/salting; Basic electrical; Basic plumbing; Basic HVAC diagnostic and repair; Basic carpentry
- Support all facilities operations with A+ customer service
- Continues improvement in our solutions for more efficient facilities maintenance
- Attention to detail, flexibility, initiative and accountability
- Teamwork/interpersonal skills, project management skills
- Decision making ability, results orientation and problem-solving ability
- Oral and written communication skills
Compensation TBD depending on qualifications.
