This hands-on training position teaches and supports young women graduating from high school to learn the skills needed to live independently. The young women in the program are transitioning from foster care to college or working to move into their apartments. This person will show the young women how to do all the tasks of living independently, including cooking, cleaning, and managing a home.
The Shift available is 3:00PM - 11:30PM. This position is based in Chicago, IL.

Physical Demands include but are not limited to:
Lifting and Carrying:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent lifting of equipment, materials, or supplies.
Standing and Walking:
- Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the workday.
- Walking or moving around the facility to perform tasks.
- Going up or down three flights of stairs per Shift.
Manual Dexterity:
- Proficiency in fine motor skills for tasks such as assembling, sorting, or handling small items.
Bending and Stooping:
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch for household cleaning tasks
- Tasks that require reaching low or high places.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborating with team members to move or transport heavy items.
