Maintenance Supervisor
Austin Maintenance Pros (AMP) was born out of a large property management company in Austin, Texas. We have been in operation since 2022. Most of the work we do is for this management company. We currently have three divisions, maintenance, contracting and roofing with plans to expand in all three divisions and beyond.
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our maintenance and contracting divisions in a full-time capacity to help build upon our existing program. This is an in-office position with all of the responsibilities and benefits of an upper management position, including dental, vision and health insurance, Paid Time Off, as well as a matching 401k program.
This job will be challenging and rewarding. The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of maintenance experience and a minimum of 7 years as a maintenance supervisor. This is the first qualification you will be asked for and we will check all references, so please don’t try to wing it here. The role requires sufficient knowledge of operations to build upon our foundation and work closely with lead staff, partners and our controller.
We are looking for a candidate who is internally motivated and works well with others. You should have a solid understanding of maintenance and repair work. The job requires a strong understanding of processes, job costing, materials and inventory management, and the ability to see the long-term impact of decisions and how they affect the staff.
Duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited:
- Building and maintaining processes
- Hiring, training and developing staff
- Organizes and leads maintenance training
- Supervises maintenance workers and contractors
- Organizes and leads maintenance training
- Develops maintenance policies and procedures
- Dispatches and schedules jobs
- Orders tools, supplies, and equipment
- Finding inefficiencies and working to reduce them
- Responds to maintenance requests
- Ensures projects stay on schedule
- Leads safety inspections at worksites
- Performs maintenance work as needed
- Evaluates worksites to determine necessary maintenance work.
- Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions
- Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures
- Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- Leading Staff Meetings
- Analyzing KPIs for areas of improvement
- Manage Maintenance staff and Contractor Vendors
- Work with Marketing and Sales to keep staff busy
- Being a Leader that staff wants to follow

Pay will range from $60,000 to $70,000 depending on experience and qualifications. We offer bonuses based on the company’s performance.
