Project Scope:
The responsibilities of this project include transferring patient information from one medical records system to a new EHR system. This involves tasks such as editing patient information for accuracy, transferring documents and patient notes to the appropriate sections of the chart, removing duplicate documents, and entering and linking "sold" package information for each chart.
Project Scope and Timeline:
The Project Specialist role is a full-time role (M-F, 8am-5pm). The project is expected to involve approximately 5,000 patient charts and is expected to take around 4-6 months to complete.
Job Duties:
- Understand Project Goals: Learn what the project is about and what it needs to achieve..
- Communicate with Team and Clients: Talk to the people working on the project and those who asked for the project to make sure everyone understands what's happening.
- Keep an Eye on Progress: Watch how the project is going, making sure it stays on track with time and money.
- Handle Small Problems: Solve minor issues that come up during the project.
- Help with Reports: Assist in creating reports that show how the project is going, what's done, and what's left to do.
- Support the Team: Help the project team with their needs and make sure they have what they need to do their jobs.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or training in project management is a plus.
- Data Entry Skills: Proficiency in fast and accurate typing, familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel), databases, and basic data analysis tools. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy in data entry and management.
- Basic Experience: Some experience with projects or teamwork, even in school or volunteer settings.
- Good with People: Able to talk and listen well, working with others smoothly.
- Can Solve Problems: Good at thinking through small problems and finding ways to solve them.
- Organized: Can manage tasks and time well, keeping track of what needs to be done.
- Willing to Learn: Open to learning new things, especially about managing projects and working with tools like Microsoft Office or simple project management software.
- Flexible: Ready to adapt when things change and handle different tasks as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
