Job Summary:
Wyandotte Technologies is seeking a Technical Engineering Project Manager in support of their contract with the Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region. The primary duties of this position are to provide technical and managerial leadership on maintenance and construction projects. This will include requirements analysis, contract and resource management, and budget and financial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the project management phase using the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge in compliance with DOE Order 413.
- Assist with developing and validating project requirements.
- Provide technical review and comment on all facets of the project.
- Perform regular site visits to verify and report on construction progress.
- Schedule and direct staff activities.
- Participate in the budget formulation process for both current and future projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry and government policies and standards.
- Maintain all necessary project documentation.
- Plan, track, and facilitate “Lessons Learned” for each project.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Must be a certified Professional Engineer in California
- Must have ten (10) years’ experience with managing and scheduling High Voltage, Extra High Voltage projects
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office suite

Pay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
