The role: Modeling Solutions Engineer, Staff
Location: Breckenridge, Co OR Santa Clara, CA - Hybrid 3 Days in the Office.
What you will do:
In this role on the Hardware Modeling team, you will be responsible for integration, deployment, and user interaction of a transaction accurate model of D-Matrix’s IP. This model is used as a virtual platform, providing a high-fidelity simulation of hardware for our software teams. You will architect small-scale cloud solutions for deployment of distributed high-performance models. You will also define and implement CI/CD flows to ensure model functionality and uptime. Finally, you will be responsible for working with internal customers to improve user interaction with the model. Over time, you will improve test methodology and develop internal tools and infrastructure used throughout the company.

Minimum:
BS in Computer Science (or similar) and 5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to architect, deploy, and maintain small-scale, high-performance cloud applications
Experience developing and supporting CI/CD flows
Familiarity with common software testing paradigms and frameworks
Expert coding ability in Python
Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented focus
Preferred:
Prior startup, small team or incubation experience
Azure or AWS Solutions Architect certification
Experience with tools and frameworks such as: GitLab, Jenkins, jinja2, PyTorch, pandas, C++, pytest, GoogleTest, cmake, MPI
Experience with high volume logging infrastructure
Previously held in an internal customer facing role
