Brighter Living is a Group Home with two houses located in Port Charlotte. We care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a home setting. We assist with daily living skills including but not limited to personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication administration. A Direct Service Provider or Caregiver may also take individuals on activities and outings such as Special Olympics.
We are monitored through the Agency for Persons With Disabilities, and require a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and the applicant must be at least 18 years old, with no criminal background. Further trainings will be required, but will be discussed in the application process.

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing housekeeping tasks
- Administering Medications
- Showering / Toileting
- Facilitating community involvement by accompanying individuals to outings
- Promoting communication, choice, independence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes, and other necessary documentation

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
