Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve overall restaurant performance and profitability.
- Train and supervise staff on food handling procedures, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, shift management, food service management, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of food production processes and the ability to maintain quality standards.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a restaurant setting.
