Job Description:
Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Tooling Manager
Job Objective:
Maintain building and mechanical equipment in all of Miro Tool’s facilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain both internal and external general/preventative maintenance to ensure continual, efficient operations with minimal down time
Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance on production equipment, including but not limited to water jets, punch presses, compressors, CNC lathes, mills and grinders.
· Troubleshoot production equipment such as electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
· Basic knowledge of safety procedures and understanding of OSHA.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow given directions while organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
· Maintain work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environment.
· Receive all training necessary to work on various types of shop equipment.
· Delegate authority to machine operators to perform preventive maintenance on their equipment.
· Monitor trends and create preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unnecessary repairs.
· Perform root cause analysis so as to better determine appropriate solutions.
· Diagnostic ability, good intuition and ingenuity a must.

· Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 3-5 years experience in machine maintenance required. Manufacturing background a plus
· Fork lift experience a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights above 10 feet
· Must use PPE and wear company provided uniforms.
· Will work both inside and outside the buildings as needs require
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
