Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Financial Specialist to join our team. Candidates must have at least one year of experience with bookkeeping and Quickbooks software. An ideal candidate will also have experience in business office project management (paying bills, managing vendors/customers, etc.), cash management, and/or financial analysis. We work specifically with nonprofits and small businesses, so experience in these sectors is also highly desirable.

Duties:
- Lead ongoing bookkeeping for multiple clients, using both cash and accrual methods (depending on the client)
- Conduct monthly reconciliations
-Update and maintain client dashboards
- Lead other compliance: sales tax filings, 1099 filings, and support with taxes/990 preparation.
- Manage payroll for multiple clients
- Manage business office functions for multiple clients
Qualifications:
- At minimum, one year of experience with bookkeeping using the Quickbooks software
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the way we treat our clients is integral to who we are as a company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other financial software applications
- Ability to self-manage work and deadlines
