Position Overview:
As an industrial cleaning technician, you will play a vital role in our team, providing essential support to equipment operators and the lead hand in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of industrial cleaning equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, including equipment preparation, maintenance assistance, operating process piping and fittings, load securement, rigging, and general support to maintain a smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Traveling 75% (Project Based) required
- Following orders as directed by the leadership team.
- Opening process equipment and connecting injection tools.
- Uphold and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that safety protocols and guidelines are rigorously adhered to by all team members.
- Provide general support and assistance as needed to equipment operators and the lead hand to maintain operational efficiency.
- Oversee routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, coordinating with maintenance personnel as needed.
- Safely rig injection tools and secure them in accordance with our cleaning procedures.
- Ensure secure load handling for the safe transportation of equipment.
- Adhere to stringent safety protocols and guidelines.
Key Qualifications:
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Willingness to work in various environments and weather conditions.
- Proficiency in secure load handling for transportation.
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning equipment operation is advantageous.
- CDL Class A License is highly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stoop for extended periods and routinely move from kneeling to standing positions
- Must be able to wear a respirator (clean shave)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from the ground surface
- Must be able to climb ladders and perform work at elevated heights
- Must be able to work in confined spaces (confined entry)
- Must be able to pass company physical exam and drug screening
