XSOLIS, is a dynamic and entrepreneurial healthcare technology organization focused on creating an environment for our clients where care givers spend more time with patients and less time with their heads down in paperwork. For the first time, healthcare operations can leverage clinical and risk scoring methodologies to better manage medical necessity determinations, patient flow, patient hand-offs, payer/provider communication, accurate reimbursement.
The Physician Advisor Manager possesses extensive professional expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong desire to contribute to an organization renowned for its innovation, execution, and delivery. The Physician Advisor Manager leverages practical experience to implement solutions that transform how hospitals address their administrative challenges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Staffing/Scheduling
- Work with PA Director on the following:
- Organize, maintain, troubleshoot, update, and distribute schedule coverage
- Oversee holiday coverage assignments
- Update and distribute Administrator On Call tracking
- Anticipate schedule modifications to ensure coverage for foreseeable events such as training, meetings, and travel
- Monitor the active queue for urgent needs and initiate calls for assistance as necessary
- Human Resources/Compliance
- Provide oversight for all annual compliance tasks, including but not limited to HIPAA training and physician medical license renewal
- Ensure the team adheres to all company request
- Ensure the completion of credentialing for the Physician Advisor staff when onboarding a new client
- Payroll/Compensation
- Complete payroll approval, edits, and submission
- Tracking and submission of all additional reimbursement (PAF)
- Confirm, track, and submit all company-related expenses in Suti
- Authorize and monitor the progress of continued medical education (CME)
- Administrative
- Provide oversight of the calendars for the Vice President of Medical Affairs and the Director of Physician Assistant Services
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to coordinate meetings to fulfill the specific requests and requirements of the clients
- Participate in client and/or department meetings, ensuring comprehensive minutes and presentations are prepared and delivered
- Prepare, reconcile, and distribute quarterly audits and monthly billing.
- Assist with Downtime process and recap
- Regularly update and distribute department-specific reports and spreadsheets
- Order supplies, as needed, for the PA and Denials department staff
- Effectively communicate to the team the client's requirements, changes in policies/procedures, and company/department expectations
- Coordination of PA training
- Scheduling interviews
- Organize/update training manuals
- Facilitate logistical arrangement: travel, hotel, team dinner, transportation, equipment needs
- Additional functions, task, and special projects as deemed appropriate and warranted
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 3 years minimum supervision of a team
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Basic computer skills, including typing, navigating browsers, etc.
- MS Office Suite
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead teams and give effective feedback or coaching
- Problem solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to think strategically and have strong decision-making capabilities
Working Environment and Travel Requirements
- Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
- Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.
