We are looking for a talented individual to add to our existing Slot Technician team. The person in this role will prep, install, troubleshoot at a component/circuit level, service, maintain, upgrade and convert IT gaming systems and equipment and document all services rendered. Our Slot Technicians will install products on customer floors, set game options and perform all prep tests including hardware, firmware and system interfaces while educating customers on basic game functionalities. Members of this team must adapt to various jurisdictional requirements, interface with compliance officers and provide excellent account management skills. Applicants must have clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact well with both our internal and external customers.
Professional Requirements
- Applicants must live in the Las Vegas, NV surrounding metro area or be willing to relocate to that area
- Ability to travel about 60% - territory includes NV, CA, AZ, CO, & NM.
- Associate’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 3-5 years of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism are a must
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Willingness to work varied shifts and hours related to customer and travel requirements
- Must pass a security background check, DMV check, have a valid state driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed is in accordance to IRS rates)
- Must be able to obtain the necessary state, local and tribal gaming licenses as required
- Availability to travel to casinos in other states to assist with larger installs/tradeshows
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and service I.T. slot machines and other cabinet related items.
- Teach casino personal how to navigate thru our software and hardware
- Communicate to internal customers when projects are completed
- Troubleshoot issues with customers over the phone or thru email
- Maintain accurate count of all issued inventory items
- Enter / Close orders in Sales Force / Oracle E-Business Suite systems

Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC fundamentals
- Experience using tools is required
- Ability to read and translate wiring diagrams
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot EGMs to a component/circuit level
- Testing programs with verification devices
- Capable of setting up game options and testing various devices, e.g., bill acceptors
- Perform software and system integration verification tests
- Troubleshoot with input and output tests
