Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and general labor tasks. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to creating visually appealing spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and washing walls
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers to achieve desired finish
- Perform minor carpentry work such as repairing drywall, framing, and masonry
- Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Assist in remodeling projects by providing painting and labor support
- Utilize color theory knowledge to mix paints and create custom colors
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial, industrial, or residential painting
- Proficiency with hand tools and painting equipment
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in painting
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics for project specifications
- Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques is a plus
- Experience in masonry work is advantageous
- Familiarity with industrial painting processes is beneficial
- Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
