A.G.E.S., Inc. has the following opportunity available in our King of Prussia, Pennsylvania branch office:
Staff Level Geotechnical Engineer: This is an entry-level engineering position. The successful candidate will apply geotechnical engineering techniques, procedures, and principles to a variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects. Must have a solid understanding of soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, earth structures, earth pressures, instrumentation, construction monitoring, and soil laboratory testing. During the first year, some fieldwork is required to gain experience. B.S. in Civil Engineering. M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering a plus. The position requires registration as an Engineer-in-Training or obtaining an E.I.T. within 18 months of hire. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel) is expected. The candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills.
