We are a concessions company gearing up for an exciting season of night markets and music festivals and are looking to grow our food booth team! Pay is hourly based on experience, plus tips. Events and training will begin at the end of February or beginning of March.
We are hiring team members who have a flexible schedule and can commit to working all of our upcoming food festivals throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas and more.
Your role can vary in the booth based on experience and may include basic food prep, cook, cashier & expediting food/beverage orders. This position is very similar to working in a food truck or at a stadium concession stand, so any related experience is a plus. Cooking experience is also a plus, but not required for all positions.
We currently have 25+ events running every week from March through September. You will typically work approximately 35-40 hours from Thursday - Sunday for most events. A schedule will be provided to qualified candidates to confirm availability.
You will be expected to drive daily for events in Los Angeles & Orange County. Our teams will carpool for all other events. Shared hotel accommodations will be provided for events outside of Los Angeles & Orange County. You must be comfortable traveling with coworkers.
Responsibilities:
-Set up and tear down event equipment at event sites (tents, tables, banners, cooking equipment)
-Load and unload equipment, food & supplies
-Set up & efficiently run your food or beverage station at events, following proper health and sanitation rules at all times
-Provide excellent customer service and work as a team
Requirements:
- Open availability to commit to all events
- Strong work ethic - honest, punctual and hard working
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods & be comfortable working outside in warm weather
- Team player with positive attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- California Food Handlers Card (necessary within 30 days of hiring date)
- Reliable personal transportation! NO EXCEPTIONS
- Food Service, Food truck, Concessions or cooking experience required
