In this role you will:
be responsible for assisting the Program Director (Manhattan) in overseeing and managing the operation of a program. The APD assists in assuring the implementation of programs signed effectively within the division. This position requires effective communication between the Program Directors, Senior Program Director, program staff, all program stakeholders, and other agency departments. APD is responsible for monitoring budget, audits and all components of Program compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Manage, implement and oversee program(s) requirements as assigned.
- Supervise CCNY staff at ACS Children’s Center (a CASAC) and ECS Consultants
- Set additional requirements and standards as specified by Child Center of NY.
- Set program targets and goals, prepare and monitor program budget, and provide program reports.
- Coordinate staff acquisition, orientation, training, payroll and evaluations with Human Resources.
- Provide supervision to all staff including feedback, evaluations and write-ups as needed.
- Develop and support employee growth for retention.
- Communicate program aspects throughout the organization.
- Oversee community engagement, outreach, and stakeholder relationships.
- Meet performance expectations/metrics, as defined for the position within the assigned program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Program- specifically with ACS Children’s Center and ECS staff; as well as with other staff as needed (i.e. MH, DV. SU consultants).
- Review and respond to critical cases during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Coordinate and provide ECS coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Supervise and provide clinical and administrative oversight of the Team Coordinator at ACS’ OSI (Office of Special Investigation) office.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and applicable laws.
- Solid comprehension of Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) where applicable.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, leading trainings, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related.
- LMSW,LCSW, LMHC
