May You Find Peace Counseling, a holistic group psychotherapy practice, is in need of a Registered Dietitian to oversee the nutritional well-being of our clients. We believe in seeing the whole picture when treating clients, and feel the right dietician would be an excellent compliment to our highly talented and innovative team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conducting nutrition assessments, identifying patients at risk and creating diet plans. The ideal applicant has experience providing nutrition education to patients, supporting clients with chronic illness and/or undergoing care for chronic illness and/or cancer, and mitigating risk factors. You must be willing to collaborate with physicians, therapists and nurses in order to tailor dietary services and improve patient outcomes. The Registered Dietitian should be a great communicator with compassion for clients needs.

Dietitian responsibilities
- Provide dietary consultations in accordance with state standards and guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations
- Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient’s current health
- Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly assessments of clients and adapt nutrition plans as needed
- Implement personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies
- Deliver client nutrition recommendations to physicians and therapists
- Provide nutrition education and counseling for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be a Registered Dietitian in the State of Connecticut
