We are seeking qualified, full time Infant Teachers (0-14 months) willing to work 8:00am-5:00 or 8:30am-5:30pm.

An Infant Teacher will provide a nurturing and safe environment for the preschool room to develop and reach age appropriate milestones. You will demonstrate good judgment in the care and play with each preschool assigned to you. You will verbally engage the preschool throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities. You will maintain the feeding schedule with the bottles and solids provided by the parents.
The ideal candidate will be a caring individual who enjoys teaching young children with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. You will have a GED or H.S. diploma and have completed the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority. You will have the flexibility to work a shift between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm and have reliable transportation to the Child Care center to ensure consistency for the preschoolers. A clean drug screen and background check are essential before an offer can be extended.
Lead Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development (recommended).
- High school diploma or associate degree.
- CPR certified and trained.
- Complete background check and health examination.
- Previous experience in a preschool.
- A passion for working with babies and toddlers.
- Patient, nurturing and thoughtful.
- Good communication skills.
- Maintain discretion around children's records.
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care authority.
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor.
- Ability to work a shift in between 6:00 am _-6:00 pm that changes weekly.
- Reliable transportation to Dandelion NPS.
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents.
