HomeTeam Inspection Service of Tacoma is expanding. We inspect homes and commercial properties in teams of two, a Master Inspector and a Support Inspector. This job posting is for the hiring of a Licensed Home Inspector on a part-time basis with the goal of converting into a full-time position.
As a Master Inspector you will lead the Support Inspector and manage the inspection of the whole home. Your focus will be on the exterior of the home and you will be required to go on rooftops and into attics and crawlspaces. Your duties will include the discovery of deficiencies in the home, documentation and photographing of the deficiencies, and being able to describe the deficiencies that you found to clients and Real Estate Agents.
The inspectors meet in the morning and drive in a company car, conducting up to 4 inspections a day, lasting 1.5-2 hours each.
All candidates must have their WA Home Inspector license. Candidates who do not have their home inspector license or at least have taken and completed the coursework for the test (in WA or in another state) will not be considered.
Compensation for the Master Inspector:
This is a PART-TIME position and compensation will vary. A full schedule for full-time inspectors is 60 inspections per month. Compensation starts at $80 per inspection during the initial training.
Candidates:
· Must have a high school diploma
· Must be able to use electronic tablets and perform basic data entry
· Must have the ability to speak to clients
· Must have their WA Home Inspector license
· Must have a valid drivers license
· Must be able to pass a background check or have approved waivers
