Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ)—a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York City—seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Recruitment Coordinator to join our Recruitment team.
The Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with the recruitment team in developing and implementing a well-coordinated and effective approach to recruiting for all positions. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work in a high-volume environment, and have amazing attention to detail.
This role is located at the HCZ HQ offices in Harlem. It is a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in office.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic thinker with excellent time-management and follow-up skills
- Must possess high-level attention to details

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
What you'll do
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to refine and update position profiles, ensuring accurate representation across all recruiting platforms
- Design and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract skilled candidates, leveraging various channels such as internet platforms, social networks, employee referrals, professional associations, recruitment events, and resume databases.
- Source and screen applicants to determine qualifications and interest level
- Refer appropriate candidates to HR Recruiter
- Assist in crafting and presenting offers to potential candidates.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure candidates and recruiters remain well-informed throughout the recruitment process.
- Generate data reports regarding recruitment activities
- Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities and other departmental recruitment-related activities
- Perform other duties as assigned

- 3 days in office/2 days remote
