Summary of Responsibilities
We're seeking caring, professional, and dependable Registered Nurses to provide direct care duties and who has a working knowledge of the Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers and GAPP Procedures. Responsibilities include:
o Ability to follow verbal and written instructions according to the PPOT
o Participate in the development and implementation of the service plan for clients receiving nursing services.
o Regularly assesses the needs of clients receiving nursing services
o Medication Administration Teaching
o Monitoring medication
o Complete Service Plans
o Supervise CNAs and PCAs and nurses
o Train new staff
o Supervise management of records
o Investigate incidents/grievances and accidents
o Conduct orientation training
o Medication Administration Teaching
o Regular assess the needs of the clients receiving nursing services
This position reports to the CEO and will supervise team members as applicable.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED, current Georgia RN license to practice nursing and render services in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act, O.C.G.A. 43-26-1 et seq. Working knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Private Home Care Providers Chapter 290-5-54. Knowledge of GAPP Procedures
o BLS Certified
o Clean Criminal Background Check
o Negative TB test
o Signed statement of history of no misconduct
Preferred qualifications for this role:
Ability to work independently, complete assessments and provide excellent customer service to clients. Demonstrated by:
- Current CPR Certification
- Current TB testing
- Experience working with medically fragile patients and home healthcare
- Excellent bedside manner
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours
