Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems in an industrial establishment.

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
-
Detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.

Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
-
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.

Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.

Utilize the preventative maintenance software program to report on and track pending and completed tasks.
Requirements:

Strong organizational, verbal, written, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.

Dependability through regular and reliable attendance is required.

Two-year technical degree in industrial, electrical, or mechanical emphasis is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

Important Skills: The following skills are necessary for long-term success in this position, but can be learned through on-the-job training for the motivated candidate:

Mechanical, electrical, and repair maintenance experience.
- Instillation, preventative maintenance, and repair of overhead crane experience.
- Computer proficiency or experience with preventative maintenance software.
Standard Shift: Day Shift: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Second Shift: Monday - Thursday: 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM
