SUMMARY:
Are you an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge MLOps platform for analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning solutions? If you have at least five years of hands-on experience in this field and are well-versed in Python, Terraform, AWS and its artificial intelligence and machine learning services, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
As an AI/ML engineer, you will lead the design and development of MLOps framework and platform, oversee the operations and maintenance of all advanced Gen-AI and data-driven models and its applications to drive insights and innovation within our organization. You’ll automate the deployment and performance test of the ML models to measure accuracy or decay. Your expertise will be instrumental in refining usage of existing models and creating new ones to solve complex business challenges.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Design, build, scale and operationalize AI/ML framework in a big data environment leveraging PySpark, Terraform and AWS environments through automation and infrastructures-as-code.

Hands-on development to write a template AWS Sagemaker Pipelines framework complete with feature engineering in Python and Terraform IaC.

Apply custom changes to the MLOps framework for each Model.

Work closely with Data Scientists in the team to design, build and scale the ML pipeline.

Automate deployment with code pipeline and model registry in different AWS environments.

Automate performance tests to measure Model decay.

Develop methodologies for evaluating model performance, including A/B testing and cross-validation.

Continuously refine and optimize ML models to improve accuracy and performance.

Create and maintain dashboards on Model performance & usage.

Create and maintain charts on monthly costs incurred by the Models in each environment.

Partner with Data Science, Product, Engineering, DevOps and other cross functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions and drive business decisions.

Innovate, define, understand, design, and build prototypes of AI/ML models to drive our product roadmap.

Stay up-to-date with cutting edge MLOps and AI technologies.

Have a startup mindset with build fast and fail fast approach.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, AI, and MLOps

Expert in Python, Terraform

Proficient in ML frameworks, tools, and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook

Expert knowledge in AWS Sagemaker and other AI/ML AWS services

Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset

Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
EDUCATION
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree or a Ph.D. is a plus

Experience with AWS Lambda or Glue jobs preferred

AWS Certification on Machine Learning - Specialty is a plus
