Altitude Health is an outpatient provider of integrated behavioral health services including psychiatry, therapy, ketamine infusion therapy, and other interventional procedures. Utilizing an integrated team of medical and therapeutic providers and staff members, we treat patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, chronic pain, neuropathic pain, migraines, postpartum depression, and other mood disorders. The ideal applicant for this role is one who can work independently while collaborating with other healthcare and mental health providers to optimize patient outcomes. Smoothly integrating as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse Lead plays a key role in ketamine infusion therapy by facilitating safety, integration, and connection with patients and adapts to various administrative duties in support of the clinic functions and other modalities.
This position is full time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:
· Front Office.
· Scheduling and confirming new patient appointments and follow-ups.
· Greeting patients and their loved ones when they come into the clinic.
· Answering phones.
· Facilitating revenue cycle management with 3rd party.
· Processing patient payments.
· Medical & office supply inventory.
· Cadenced management reporting.
Registered Nurse Duties:
· Back Office.
· Proficient in obtaining and maintaining peripheral intravenous lines.
· Proficient in IV blood draws.
· Knowledge of indwelling port-a-cath using proper sterile technique.
· Ability to administer oral and IV medications as ordered.
· Monitor & assist with ketamine (& other) infusions.
· Proficient in assessing and evaluating patients.
· Ability to delegate, direct and oversee ancillary personnel.
· Competency in applying sound judgement in patient care decisions.
· Maintains all applicable patient privacy laws and regulations such as the HIPAA Act and other local, state, and federal statutes.
· Adheres to Altitude Health’s established policies and procedures.
· Assists in growth and development of clinic.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
· BSN or higher degree from accredited program.
· Active and Clear FL Board of Nursing License (BON).
· BLS and ACLS certification required.
· Ability to practice with full scope FL BON.
· Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills.
· Front and back clinical office experience.
· Must pass criminal background and drug screenings.
· Experience with Microsoft Products preferred.
· Mental Health experience preferred.
· Experience with Advanced MD highly preferred.
