Medical Assistant (Certified)
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Phlebotomy, urinalysis, and EKGs.
2. Responsible for COVID testing, FLU testing and Strept Testing (handing kit to patient for self-testing).
3. Maintains exam rooms according to protocols, including sanitation and COVID-19 protocols.
4. Appropriately prepares patient for visit and alerts physician when patient is ready to be seen. Responsible for initial medical screening, vitals, and intake.
5. Assists provider during visit and examination. Stay in the room with providers.
6. Assist with data entry.
7. Maintain EMR. Help providers to fill the Gaps.
9. Perform Vitals.
8. Performs basic clerical duties in support of patient services. These include but are not limited to answering phones, photocopies, faxing, typing, completing forms, and medical records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
