Position Overview
As a Kitchen Supervisor / Lead Line, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the heart of our restaurant. This position demands a balance of leadership, culinary expertise, and a commitment to exceptional standards of food preparation and presentation. You'll ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly, upholding our recipes, and serving standards while fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation Excellence: Guarantee that all dishes are prepared and served consistently to the restaurant's standards. This includes overseeing recipes, portioning, cooking methods, and presentation.
- Equipment and Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are clean and in excellent condition through regular inspection and adherence to maintenance programs.
- Sanitation and Safety: Implement and maintain cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas and ensure compliance with food safety standards, including temperature controls.
- Team Leadership: Develop positive working relationships within the team, supporting collective goals, and maintaining a professional work environment.
- Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor food and supply inventory, ensuring cost efficiency and waste reduction.
- Customer Service: Understand and meet guest needs, manage special requests, and ensure guest satisfaction with exceptional food quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and manage kitchen staff effectively.
- Must be capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and attitude, with a commitment to uphold the company's service and quality standards.
