Kodiak Fire Protection, Inc. is a recognized leader in the installation and service of state-of-the-art Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems and Backflows. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for talented Fire Alarm and Fire Extinguisher Service Technicians. Fire Alarm Technicians RESPONSIBILITIES: Service, installation and inspection of all types of Fire Alarm Systems. Follow verbal and written instructions. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Kodiak Fire Protection, Inc. work. Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes. Properly secure all Kodiak Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss. Complete and submit time reports and other documents as required. Bring to the immediate attention of the supervisor all changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair service activities or schedules. May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or away from home to meet customer service requirements. Perform other duties as directed. QUALIFICATIONS: Current State Fire Alarm, RME-I and/or FEL License NICET certification is also a plus. Must have valid drivers license and be able to obtain a PERC card. Follow verbal and written instructions. Reliability Must be currently licensed and have a minimum 3 years of experience in the industry. Must know Silent Knight and Fire Lite and have a current State fire alarm Lic.
