Background:
Costa Roofing is the premier commercial roof repair and maintenance company in Southern California. We specialize in roof repair, maintenance and restoration and have a wide-ranging customer list that we service all over Southern California. We have been servicing clients in San Diego from our Lawndale Headquarters and we are now in the process of opening a physical office in Carlsbad. Responsibilities:
- Work with President to develop and execute on plan to introduce company to San Diego market and build team
- Cold calling to develop leads and meet new clients and introduce company to new marketplace
- Coordination with Marketing Manager on marketing campaigns – phone/in-person
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
- Inspect roofs to identify necessary maintenance/repairs – this position requires the use of ladders and physically inspecting roofs. Safety and handling procedures will be taught.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Price projects and prepare proposals for customers
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, progress, billing, etc.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related activities
- Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues and risks
- Provide monthly reports to President
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager, Operations Manager or Service Department Manager in the roofing industry is required
- Previous experience in business development or sales is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage team as it grows
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus
