Arizona Animal Wellness Center is a 9-doctor, 80 team members, AAHA Accredited companion animal hospital in Gilbert. We work hard to provide the most compassionate care for our patients. We need an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative ("CSR") who is passionate about problem-solving with the ability to handle a heavy call volume that includes questions about emergency and critical care as well as preventative medicine for the pet patients we serve. You would assist with all aspects of communications with our clients as well as assist clients with their appointments with their pets. Our talented communications team rocks it at all levels... and does so in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a team who is dedicated to serving our community.
We are looking for someone excited to learn and willing to grow themselves and others. The ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and be a conscientious, kind, and compassionate person are required. A Veterinary Technical background, proficiency with Cornerstone, and cross-training are a plus, but not required.
The Client Service Representative ("CSR") drives the flow of clients and pets through the clinic and serves as a patient and client advocate.
Job responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times. This includes welcoming clients and patients into the clinic, being available and willing to answer client questions over the phone and in person, and being able to educate clients on their pet's preventive care and/ or medical care needs.
- Being able and willing to professionally interact with clients by showing empathy, respect, and friendliness.
- Being able and willing to communicate with clients using text messaging platforms, email, Cornerstone (medical management software), and phone communications.
- Being able and willing to assist the medical team with appointment triage
- Adhering to proper medical record documentation standards
- Processing prescription and medication food requests
- Managing the finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures.
- Scheduling, confirming, and reviewing appointments
- Conducting administrative functions as necessary
- Other job duties as assigned
We are open Monday-Saturday and have flexible scheduling. Ability to work some weekends is a requirement.
