As a Student Analyst Intern you will be responsible for assisting behavior analysts to implement behavior and skill acquisition treatment plans. The candidate will be assisting clients with day-to-day activities, monitor behavior, record and collect data on clients' progress, communicate with caregivers, and assist with coverage at other locations. To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing your BCBA certification
- Must have completed or be enrolled in a Applied Behavior Analysis program
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be willing to work a maximum of 130 hours/month
- Must be willing to learn and participate in natural environment teaching
- Must be able to meet for the required supervision sessions per month (2-4 supervision sessions dependent on fieldwork track)
- Must have basic knowledge of the functions of behavior and ABA principles
- Must display proficienct in both restricted and unrestricted activities
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one home setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor
- Provide coverage for staff call outs (must be willing to travel)
- Collect and record data on client’s behavior
- Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of RBTs
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family
- Carry out assisting with clinical assessments and other administrative duties
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Tracking and management of all training certifications needed for ABA behavior technicians to ensure continued compliance.
- Providing ongoing training and support to technicians.
- Supervision, Parent Training, and other BCBA roles under direct supervision of your BCBA.
