We are seeking an energetic, talented, compassionate, and dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team of professionals. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of one of our amazing licensed occupational therapists to assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for clients with various physical, developmental, or emotional challenges.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Assist clients in performing activities of daily living and functional tasks to improve motor skills, coordination, attention, sensory needs, and overall independence.
-Provide guidance and support to clients, their families, and our professional interdisciplinary team on adaptive techniques to enhance the client's ability to engage in daily activities.
- Document client progress, response to treatment, and any status changes accurately and timely.
-Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment and ensure proper maintenance of equipment/supplies.
Qualifications:
-Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure as a COTA in the state of Florida.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to care with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities when needed and work effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience working with the pediatric population is required. Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred.
- Willing to travel to our Wesley Chapel and/or St. Pete locations 1+ times per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
