Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned.
- Teaches relevant and rigorous lessons in both Language Arts and Social Studies subjects (during different class periods) to maximize students' engagement and achievement.
- Due to class ratios, able to utilize a variety of teaching practices and methodologies that reflect diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds to meet the individual needs of students.
- Assumes responsibility for overseeing student behavior in class and during breaks.
- Reports on the student's progress and day’s activities after each teaching day.
- Follows all policies, rules, and procedures to which teachers are subject, and good teaching practices dictate.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must live in Tampa, Florida
- Valid Florida Teaching Certificate required.
- ESE experience preferred.
- Must be a qualified professional committed to the success of students!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
